Earth News Terra is made by professionals from different areas, who came together for the cause of valuing the knowledge of traditional peoples and the wealth as a result of environment’s preservation.
Lourival Sant’Anna
Editor
A journalist for over 30 years, he has covered extensively traditional peoples, the environment and sustainable development, in the Amazon and in other biomes in Brazil and around the world. He has reported from 80 countries, focusing on human geography, culture, society, economics, geopolitics and history.
Marcello Queiroz
Director
Communications professional and content specialist. A journalist with a Postgraduate Degree in Sciences Applied to Consumption from ESPM (São Paulo). He has worked in several editorial areas of newspapers and is specialized in the marketing area and has analyzed the relationship of companies in Brazil and around the world in sustainability programs and ESG goals.
Luciene Kaxinawá
Reporter
Born in the State of Rondonia, in the Amazon, 26, belongs to the Huni kuin people, also known as Kaxinawá. She worked with CNN Brasil, Amazônia Real and Vogue Brasil, reporting on the environment and indigenous peoples. She currently works an independent journalist, reporting from the Brazilian Amazon, giving voice to indigenous, riverside and quilombola peoples.
Adriano Gambarini
Columnist
Professional photographer and author since 1991. Geologist specializing in natural history, he has documented all Brazilian biomes, the Antarctica and over 44 countries. He has been working on conservation, historical and ethnographic projects in the Amazon for 27 years. Author of 19 photographic books, he was the winner of the 2019 Comunique-se Award, in the Professional of Image category.
Fabio Tozzi
Health specialist
A doctor, he has worked in the Amazon since 2006. He coordinates the Community Health Program of the Saúde Alegria Project, which provides health care to indigenous communities and other inhabitants of the region. He has been a consultant to the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
Isabela Mota
Digital Editor
Journalism student, from the state of Pará, born and raised in the Amazon rivers. She works independently in journalistic projects focusing on women, public policies and the sustainable development in the Amazon Forest.
Érico Hiller
Photographer
Independent documentary photographer with a focus on social impact, he has been working with the environment and social inequalities for the last 20 years on all continents. Currently working on a book about the condition of women in the world.
Valéria Paschoal
Nutrition Specialist
Director at VP Functional Nutrition, Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Clinics and Gastronomy at VP/Santa Casa, food biodiversity researcher, CSA Brasil. Author of the book “Functional Nutrition, Agroecology and Sustainability”.
